Dave, any ideas what's going on here?

I have an email from Dave dated 05/22/2008 indicating that
--enable-shared wasn't working for building the DLL in 2.4.6. I don't
know if something changed in the swish-e src, or if some build tool
changed. Nothing in src/win32 has changed in more than 2 years so I
doubt the issue is in there.
