I don't believe the native index format has changed. The way to tell is to check 
the SWISH_MAGIC var defined in swish.h. It's still set to what it was in 2.4.3 
and a quick scan of the cvs log doesn't show anything that would have affected 
the index format since 2.4.3.

Same goes for btree format, afaik.
