The most recent information seems to be in a wiki at 
http://plucene.minty.org/ now. Not very encouraging though. Still no 
wildcard searches and some performance issues with indexing.

Then again: Quoting the "Totally Un-Official Plucene FAQ":

Maybe they just haven't heard about SIWSH::API ?
