I've found this to be very true as well.

Even with SWISH::HiLiter, which runs faster than the default 
context-snipper in SWISH::PhraseHighlight, my display time is doubled by 
doing the context highlighting.

I'd love to find a faster way to do context matching in search results. 
Any programmers out there suggest anything?
