I was just looking at the output from my latest build.  I see that one
of the libs created is   libswish-e.so.2.0.0

Should this be libswish-e.so.2.4.2 ?  Does this make sense?

I tried changing the following definition in src/Makefile:

   libswish_e_la_LDFLAGS = -version-info 2:0:0 $(Z_LIBS) $(PCRE_LIBS)

to  2:4:2

but the output was not what I expected...
