This might be off-topic, but I changed the following templates (in
templates/en ... YMMV):

archidxfoot.html
archidxhead.html
archliststart.html
archtoc.html
archtocentry.html
archtocnombox.html
article.html

The example I used looks kind of like this:

> <B>Search LBO-Talk Archives</B>
> <form method="get"
action="http://search.lbo-talk.org/search/swish.cgi"
> enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" class="form">
> <input maxlength="200" value="" size="32" type="text" name="query"/>
> <input value="Search!" type="submit" name="submit"/><br>
> Limit search to:
> <input type="radio" name="metaname" value="swishdefault" checked
/>Subject &amp; Body
> <input type="radio" name="metaname" value="swishdocsize" />Document
Size
> <input type="radio" name="metaname" value="swishtitle" />Subject
> <input type="radio" name="metaname" value="author" />Author
> <br>
> Sort by:
> <select name="sort">
> <option selected value="unixdate">Date</option>
> <option value="swishrank">Rank</option>
> <option value="author">Author</option>
> <option value="swishtitle">Subject</option>
> </select>
> <input type="checkbox" name="reverse" value="on" />Reverse Sort
> </form>

I also added Google ads for this list :-)

Also to article.html I aded this at the top:

> <META NAME="author" CONTENT="%(author_html)s">
> <META NAME="datestr" CONTENT="%(datestr_html)s">
> <META NAME="unixdate" CONTENT="%(date)s">

And in the .conf file I put this:

PropertyNames author datestr
PropertyNamesDate unixdate
MetaNames author datestr swishtitle unixdate
