Hi,

I'm thinking about wether it would be a good idea to implement a switch to
set the timestamp of the indexfile to the most recent modification date of
the indexed documents. This way one could use an old index itsself for
reindexing with -N, wich would be pretty useful (and cool imho).

Any objections? Is it feasable (even with merging)?
Any chance of getting this? Prettypuleeze?
