This works great until I try to build the perl module. 'perl
Makefile.PL' seemed to work fine, but 'make' gives me the following
output:
schoolproxy# make
mkdir blib
mkdir blib/lib
mkdir blib/lib/SWISH
mkdir blib/arch
mkdir blib/arch/auto
mkdir blib/arch/auto/SWISH
mkdir blib/arch/auto/SWISH/API
mkdir blib/lib/auto
mkdir blib/lib/auto/SWISH
mkdir blib/lib/auto/SWISH/API
mkdir blib/man3
cp API.pm blib/lib/SWISH/API.pm
/usr/bin/perl -I/usr/perl5/5.00503/sun4-solaris -I/usr/perl5/5.00503
/usr/perl5/
5.00503/ExtUtils/xsubpp -noprototypes -typemap
/usr/perl5/5.00503/ExtUtils/typem
ap -typemap typemap API.xs >xstmp.c && mv xstmp.c API.c
Error: Cannot parse function definition from ' SV *swish_handle'

make: *** [API.c] Error 1
Thanks in advance.

Well, that's weird. That's a conflict from the automatic
nightly cvs
build. But I'm not sure how it managed to get into the nightly
tarball. Odd.
Anyway, I just ran the nightly build script again. Fetch a new
copy from
http://swish-e.org/dev/swish-daily/swish-e-2.3-dev-04-2002-11-15.tar.gz
or use CVS.
Sorry for that trouble.
