Is anyone familiar with indexing software that can index IPTC info 
contained within jpegs and other photo file formats?   Or has anyone 
successfully configured swish-e to do this?

Specifically I am looking for an indexer that can index the caption 
info and other fields of photoshop files, on a unix system.

It would be great if such mainstream indexing software like swish-e 
could index iptc information especially considering the mass movement 
towards digitization of images.
