OctoGroup S.A. has contributed a COM/Active X component wrapper for 
SWISH-E, called SWISH-EX:

The web site is well done, and is worth a look even if you aren't 
interested in downloading the code. They have diagrammed the various 
components of a SWISH-E search, both for a typical web installation as 
well as using their code. I have added a link to their contribution on
