This isn't a bad idea.  I use this feature in almost every program that
offers it.

I don't think that solves the bigger problem, though.  Systems calls
within SWISH-E are bound to fail under similar circumstances.  Then
again, I wonder if system() even calls the shell on Win32.  That's
something else to check.
