Thanks for your note.  After talking with Bill Moseley yesterday, I think  
I'm all set.  I believe that my setting of "IgnoreLimit" made it run a long  
time.  When I removed that, it indexed the whole set of files in < 2 minutes!

Also, I was using 2.0.5, and upgraded to the latest dev snapshot.
