To whom it may concern,
I'm attempting to install the latest version of SWISH-E on an HP-UX server
at work...
I downloaded the file, unzipped and untarred it...
The ./configure worked just fine...
The make worked just fine...
The make swish-source did NOT work, because your README-SWISH-E says to
execute a "make clean" just before attempting the "make swish-search"...
--> make swish-search
Make: Don't know how to make swish-search. Stop.
The "make clean" removes the swish-e executable from the src directory...
Because of this, the swish-e executable cannot be copied to the
/usr/local/bin directory in step 5...
If you omit the make clean, the "make swish-search" works fine...
The make test works, only if you omit the make clean in step 3...
After copying the swish-e file from src to /usr/local/bin, you may now
execute the "make clean"...
I hope that you'll find this posting constructive...
