indexing stop words

We installed swish-e2.02 on SunOS 5.8 recently. We wanted to index a
collection of 2649 html files using swish-e. When we used command line
options, swish-e indexed all the files, but removed 0 very common
words. As a result, we can search for words like a, the, from the index
created.

we then tried to use user.config with IgnoreStopWords SwisheDefault set
on, this time swish-e stoped at "Removing very common words..." and never
exist.

Has anyone out there ever come across with such problem? Thanks.
