I have tried indexing a group of pages by both the file search
method and the http method. I found, to my surprise, that the file
search method always found the title but the http method rarely found
it. Upon investigation it seemed that the title was only found, in
the http method, when the following was at the start:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML//EN">
Is there anything I can do, apart from editing a couple of thousand
pages, to fix this?
